AMERICAN FORK — After round one on Saturday, a good mix of professionals and amateurs are still in the hunt for the Fox Hollow Open title.

Pros Mike Borich and Ryan Rhees each fired a 3-under par 69, which has them tied with four amateurs heading into Sunday's final 18 holes at Fox Hollow Golf Course. The amateurs who are giving the pros a chase with a first-round 69 are Stuart Gold, Nick Nelson, Jeff Kitches and Phad Truman.

There are at least a dozen or so more within striking distance. Southern Utah's Nathan Page fired a 70, while pros Chris Moody and amateurs Zach Blair, Kirk Siddens and Josh White each posted a 1-under 71. Fox Hollow superintendent John Hansgen shot an even-par 72, as did pros Jim Blair and Dave DeSantis.

Rounding out the Top 10 professionals, who are playing for a first-place check of about $2,000 in the event sponsored by Premier Tax and Accounting, are Casey Fowles (73), Henry White (74), with Corey Badger, Jeremy Liddiard, Pete Stone, Marco Stevanoni and defending champion Tom Costello each shooting a 75.

All of the professionals tee off Sunday at 2 p.m., with the leaders going off No. 1 tee. Most of the amateurs chasing the title, with the exception of Kitches, Truman and Page, also tee off in the afternoon shotgun.
