SOUTH SALT LAKE — Police are searching for whoever broke into the Sandlot Baseball Academy, making off with merchandise and memorabilia.
Police said the business at 815 W. 2400 South was broken into April 11 by thieves who pried open a metal door. They broke into locked offices, ransacking the shop and making off with an autographed baseball from the All-American Girls Pro Baseball League, TVs, computers, cameras, clothing, an autographed panting by Jim Palmer, black and white prints, cameras and tickets to the Salt Lake Bees, officers said.
Anyone with information is urged to call South Salt Lake Police at 801-840-4000.
