STOCKTON, Tooele County — A small amount of dried mustard agent residue leaking from a bulk container was discovered Tuesday during routine visual inspections in a storage igloo at Deseret Chemical Depot.

According to a press release from the facility, depot workers in protective clothing placed an air-tight containment device on the bulk container and will replace the valves and a plug before returning the container to continued storage.

The earth-covered storage structure is equipped with a filter and no vapor escaped into the environment, according to the release.
