I was invited to hear Rabbi Richard Spiegel of Temple Etz Chaim
speak at a Friday evening service to hear his report on his two-day
religious tour with four other rabbis to Utah by invitation from The
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Spiegel said he felt like the king of England in that he was treated
very graciously during the whole trip. He described the great tours and
discussion he and the other rabbis had starting in Provo, where they
met with several Brigham Young University professors.
He was especially impressed that one of those professors had climbed Mount Zion in the Holy Land 18 times.
