OGDEN — Utah Valley running back Sete Aulai rushed for a career-high 86 yards and three touchdowns in leading the Thunder to their third straight victory with a 57-41 win over the Ogden Knights Saturday night at Golden Spike Arena.
The Thunder (3-1) also got a huge performance from quarterback Mike Affleck who completed 22-of-27 passes for 209 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed for two more.
Ogden (0-4) led 21-20 midway through the second quarter, but the Thunder answered with a 28-4 run to put the game away.
Utah Valley wide receiver Quincy Jackson, in his first action of the season, tallied 12 catches for 110 yards.
The two teams will square off again next Saturday at 7 p.m. in the McKay Events Center in Orem.
