"James Blonde Agent 7-11 in Casino Real," April 14, 5-8 p.m., by appointment only, Desert Star Theatre, 4861 S. State, Murray.

Please prepare a one-minute comic monologue and 16 bars of an upbeat song. Sheet music required, and accompanist will be provided. Please no minus tracks or a cappella singing. Headshot and resume are required.

Needed are men and women ages 23-40. Must be able to do comedy and be strong singers; some dance experience preferred.

"West Side Story," Sandy Arts Guild, April 16 and 17, 7-9 p.m., Sandy Parks and Recreation Building, 440 E. 8680 South, Sandy.

Looking for men and women ages 16 and up. Please be prepared to sing 16 bars of a musical-theater piece in the style of the show; an accompanist will be provided. No minus tracks. George Dyer will play the role of Tony.

"Whoopee!" April 18, 9 a.m.-noon, Terrace Plaza Playhouse, 99 E. 4700 South, Ogden.

There are roles open for men and women ages 16-60. Please prepare a one-minute monologue and 16 bars of an upbeat Broadway-style song. No accompanist will be available, so bring your own or bring a minus track. A CD player will also be provided.

Music

A new men's choir will participate in the 2009 Mormon Battalion Heritage Day at Temple Square on June 13.

The choir, which is at this time known as the Mormon Battalion Choir, needs singers. All male singers at least 14 and older are encouraged to participate.
