The Governor's Office of Economic Development Board on Thursday approved a tax incentive for a film starring Alyssa Milano, "My Girlfriend's Boyfriend."
Filming will begin in Salt Lake City in May. The board approved a 20 percent cash rebate, which will be around $239,000 and awarded after the movie is made and the filmmakers prove they've spent the $1.2 million in Utah that they have projected, said Marshall Moore, director of the Utah Film Commission.
"The total budget is $1.4 million," Moore said.
