More than 4,000 Utahns are expected to participate in the 20th annual Walk MS at 10 a.m. Saturday in Salt Lake City, sponsored by the Utah chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Those interested in walking the three-mile route are encouraged to form multi-member teams (a captain and at least four walkers) and raise money for MS research and local programs by seeking pledges for completing the walk. Registration begins at 8 a.m. at The Gateway mall, with a program to follow at 9:30 a.m., featuring Salt Lake County Mayor Peter Corroon.
To volunteer, call Seth at 801-424-0113, option two. Early registration for walking and volunteering can also be completed online at www.cureMSutah.org or by calling 800-344-4867.
