A gay and lesbian rights service project scheduled to coincide with the LDS Church's general conference has been pushed back a week.
With the forecast calling for rain and snow Saturday, "General Service Weekend" will take place April 11 and 12, organizer Jacob Whipple said in an e-mail this week. Those interested in participating should meet at the Utah Pride Center, 361 S. 300 West, both days at 10 a.m.
In Ogden, however, a service project will move forward as planned this weekend. Volunteers should meet at the Unitarian Church, 705 23rd St., Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m.
