Cummard, Nevill named to all-star game

DETROIT, Mich. — University of Utah center Luke Nevill and BYU guard Lee Cummard have been named to the 2009 Hershey's College All-Star Game, the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced Tuesday.

The showcase will be played as part of Final Four Friday at Ford Field. Tip-off is slated for 4:35 p.m. ET.

At 7-foot-2, Nevill will be the tallest player in the game.

Nevill averaged 16.8 points and 9.0 rebounds for the Mountain West Conference champion Runnin' Utes this year en route to earning MWC Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year accolades.

Cummard, a 6-7 Arizona native, averaged 16.8 points and 6.2 rebounds for the Cougars who shared the MWC title with Utah.
