10 contest finalists

Ten finalists have been named in the Utah Entrepreneur Challenge business plan competition.

ElutInc, Hansen Industries, KT Tape, UTES, Veritract, CF3, Chocolat, Clear Diagnostics, Yo-Kid and iVeena will advanced over the next week to the final round of judging. A final-awards banquet is scheduled for April 9 at the Rice-Eccles Stadium Tower.

The top student team will receive $40,000 to accelerate turning the business plan into a reality.

The Utah Entrepreneur Challenge is a business plan competition for collegiate, university and graduate students throughout Utah. Administered by University of Utah students, the competition provides aspiring entrepreneurs with educational forums, mentors and other resources to prepare them for the competition and aid them in the creation and implementation of their business plans.
