I'm sorry that Dynette Reynolds (March 31) and other Democrats are being "shunned," especially in their wards. However, it is difficult for me to understand how anyone can be a member of any party whose platform promotes abortion on demand, same-sex marriage, "cap and trade" legislation for CO2 emissions when there is no global warming; in addition to which, "climate change" is always with us. That is the way the Lord designed this planet.
Our current government leaders, primarily Democrats, are promoting socialistic goals, which means that they are not "defending and upholding the Constitution," as they said they would when they took their oaths of office. Of course, the government has already traveled way too far down the road toward socialism. They are involved in far too many programs in which the federal government should not be involved, according to the Constitution.
It doesn't matter to me which party does it, because I would applaud and support anyone who will abide by constitutional principles. Right now, we have strayed far from them in many instances.
