There may still be hope for those of you who didn't get tickets to "Wicked," the hit musical opening at Capitol Theatre April 8 and running through May 3 (with matinees available). With the show sold out and available tickets in the hands of scalpers, the good news is the theater will be holding a drawing for prime tickets for each performance. The better news: Tickets will only be $25.
Here's how it works: Each day, two hours before the show starts, people can show up at Capitol Theatre and enter their names in the drawing. Thirty minutes later, the lucky names will be drawn. If your name is chosen, you can buy two tickets for $25 each — cash only.
If your name is not called, you can try again for another performance.
This happens in New York City regularly for most shows, but Capitol Theatre has ony done it once before, with "RENT."
Good luck!
