CLEARFIELD — It's official. The Easter Bunny is scheduled to visit Saturday, April 11, 10 a.m. for the annual Easter egg hunt, in Clearfield's Fisher Park, 934 S. 1000 East.
The American Legion Post No. 134 has volunteered to assist in the preparation and hiding of the 11,000 plastic Easter eggs. The city-sponsored egg hunt is free to children of all ages, with four age divisions being assigned to specific areas of the park.
Immediately following the hunt there will be an Easter egg dive for children ages 5-14 at the nearby Clearfield City Aquatic Center with the first dive scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. and the second dive beginning at 1:30 p.m.
Preregistration is required for the egg dive and can be done up until that morning or until both sessions are filled. The cost is $5 per child.
