When I realized in my high school career that theater meant so much to me, I was worried that it wouldn't challenge me intellectually as much as I would like. That was when I realized that theater was not just entertainment, it is one of the greatest art forms in which you can express yourself emotionally and intellectually. I plan on earning my doctorate in theater and becoming a professor of theater at a university. I want to continue growing in my education, and by becoming a professor in theater I can accomplish this goal as I learn alongside my students. I would love the opportunity because a professor can teach a number of subjects concerning theater from theater history to script analysis, or directing play upon play.

SCHOLARSHIP: Ranks 34 out of 541; GPA is 4.0; ACT is 31.

AWARDS AND PROJECTS: Drama Council president; first place Dramatic Monologue, Utah State Theater Festival; Director's Choice Award, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare; National Honor Society.
