Timpanogos High School
Parents: Karl and Beth Gadd
Orem
Our family has never had a lot of excess money so I have had to work hard for and earn a lot of what I have. Even though this experience has been a bit of a challenge, it has taught me how to manage and budget money better. Throughout my high school years, I have taken many classes that focus on children and how they work, behave and communicate at different stages in life. I have been able to use all of the skills that I have learned in these classes through baby-sitting and through being around my own family. I plan on having a family of my own someday and I know that all the skills I have learned in my various classes will help me in raising them and becoming a good parent.
SCHOLARSHIP: Ranks 32 out of 427; GPA is 3.9; ACT is 25.
AWARDS AND PROJECTS: FCCLA Timpanogos chapter president; CTE Student of the year; Young Womanhood Recognition Award; National Honor Society member; made literacy bags for kindergartners.
