At times I have found my personal values challenged in the world of dance. However, I have been able to retain my individuality by holding to those values.I have always considered dance to be one of the most creative and influential methods of expression. Dance serves as an outlet for the expression of my deepest fears and greatest dreams. It is through the gift of dance that I am able to connect with the deepest part of my soul. Dance can foster peace, empower individuals, ease burdens, bring hope and teach lifelong lessons. I believe its power allows individuals to transcend all obstacles and creates a place where the person you are and the person you hope to be converge.

SCHOLARSHIP: Ranks first out of 459; GPA is 4.0; ACT is 33.

AWARDS AND SCHOLARSHIPS: School dance company president; West Jordan Youth Council; DECA secretary; Junior Miss West Jordan; National Honors Society; National Merit semifinalist.
