PROVO — The BYU and Utah rugby teams will tangle Friday evening at 7 p.m. at BYU's South Field on the National Guard Game of the Week.
Friday's BYU-Utah showdown will be broadcast nationally on a tape-delayed basis on ESPNU on April 7.
The undefeated Cougars, who blasted Boise State by a score of 86-5 last Saturday, are ranked 1st and 2nd in the two national Division I polls, and the Utes are currently ranked among the top 5 in both national polls as well.
Tickets for Friday's match are priced at $8 for reserved seats, $6 for general admission and $2 for college/high school students and military, with children under age 12 admitted free. Tickets are available at www.byutickets.com or at the Marriott Center Ticket Office, 800-322-2981 or 801-422-2981.
On Saturday, BYU will host Utah State at 7:30 p.m. in a match that will be televised live on BYU-TV — the first collegiate rugby match to ever be televised live.
Tickets for Saturday's match are available only at the gate and are priced at $6 for general admission and $3 for students.
