Kids' musical celebration is today at Tracy Aviary

Scores of preschool-age children will celebrate "Sing With Your Child Month" with a unique musical celebration Tuesday, March 24, at 11 a.m. at Tracy Aviary, 589 E. 1300 South, in Liberty Park.

The celebration will feature young children singing and dancing with their parents and learning how to play various instruments. At the same time, parents will learn about the importance and proven benefits music has on a child's emotional and intellectual development.

The celebration was arranged by Music Together, a New Jersey-based organization that provides music classes for children of all ages in 25 countries. The celebration is intended to help parents and children create an everlasting bond through the magic of music and to learn of the benefits music has on a child's development.
