Since the U.S. Constitution forbids the establishment of ex post facto laws, let's not get all ginned up to punish the people at AIG who have accepted the bonuses. Taxing the bonuses 100 percent cannot be enacted because it is after the fact. We cannot ignore basic guarantees of our Constitution in a moment of frustration or anger. Put the lynching gear back in your pickups. Write your congressmen requesting better judgment be used for any and all future monetary support provisions.
