A minor earthquake shook southwest Utah, but no damage has been reported.
The magnitude 3.3 quake, recorded by University of Utah seismograph stations, hit around 11:43 p.m. Sunday.
University officials say the epicenter was about nine miles south of Kanarraville and 19 miles southwest of Cedar City.
Several people reported feeling the quake in Cedar City, Kanarraville and other nearby towns.
Since 1962, 13 earthquakes with a magnitude of 3.0 or greater have struck that area. The largest was a magnitude 4.2 in 1981.
