CORINNE, Box Elder County — Three people suffered minor injuries when a portion of a roof collapsed at the Proctor & Gamble plant under construction here, authorities said.

The Box Elder County Sheriff's Office was called to the plant about noon Thursday on a report of a roof collapse.

"They were putting up a roof and the corner of it came undone, and it was drooping and hanging," Chief Deputy Kevin Potter said Thursday. "No one on the ground was in any danger, and a few guys working on the roof in harnesses got banged up."

The three were taken to local hospitals to be treated for what Potter described as "bumps and scratches."
