Despite a bad case of the flu — and perhaps because of the strong support of the show's judges — Utahn Megan Joy Corkrey survived this week's voting on "American Idol."

As a result, she's assured of being part of this summer's "Idol" tour with the rest of the top 10.

Corkrey struggled with the vocals on "I Go Walking After Midnight" as she struggled with the flu on Tuesday, but the "Idol" judges all but campaigned for her to return next week. For whatever reason, viewers agreed — she wasn't even in the bottom three on Wednesday.

And she told viewers she's "feeling much better. And thank you for everybody's support yesterday. It was a rough day."

In the end, Alexis Grace was voted off the show. The "American Idol" competition continues on Wednesday (7 p.m., Ch. 13).
