Annual BYU Easter event features former Relief Society president
PROVO — The Religious Education and the Religious Studies Center at Brigham Young University will hold the annual Easter Conference from 9 a.m. to noon on April 11 in the Joseph Smith Building auditorium. The theme will be "To Save the Lost: An Easter Celebration."
Admission is free, and the public is invited to attend.
Sister Bonnie D. Parkin, former General Relief Society president, is the keynote speaker. She will speak on "My Portrait of Jesus: A Work in Progress." Other speakers include Kent P. Jackson, BYU associate dean of religious education, and Lynne Hilton Wilson, Ph.D. candidate in theology at Marquette University. Special instrumental and vocal presentations will also be featured.

'Where in the world' photo contest
The Salt Lake University LDS Institute of Religion (1780 E. South Campus Drive) is sponsoring a photo contest of images from anywhere around the world.
The photos will be used for the Latter-day Saint Student Association international night activity on April 18. Contest categories include best of show, best scenic shot, best people picture, best mission picture and more. Prizes will be awarded. Send digital photos to SaltLakeUniversityInstitute@ldsces.org or submit digital or hard copy photos at the institute main office. Make sure to include name, e-mail address and the location of the photo. Digital photos should be submitted in JPEG format, 4-by-6 and 300dpi.
All submissions are due by March 28.
Dutch research classes planned
The Family History Library is offering a two-day series of classes March 23 and 24 on Dutch research. Topics include church records, civil registration, gazetteers and maps and Internet research. Classes will be held at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day in the B1 Classroom of the Family History Library, just west of Temple Square.

Family conferences now combined
PROVO — The Brigham Young University School of Family Life and the Division of Continuing Education have combined two family conferences into the annual BYU Conference on Family Life. The theme is "If Ye Are Prepared Ye Shall Not Fear." The event will take place March 27 at the BYU Conference Center.
To register, visit ce.byu.edu/cw/family. Registration is $60 for individuals, $100 for married couples and $200 for credit registration. Speakers will present ways to strengthen families, raise a righteous posterity and prevent problems in modern family life.

Chorale celebrating season
The Timpanogos Chorale presents "Celebration of Spring" on April 2 at 7:30 p.m. in the Alpine Tabernacle (114 E. Main, American Fork) and April 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Provo Tabernacle (100 S. University Ave., Provo). The chorale will present John Rutter's "Mass of the Children." The Utah Children's Choir will also perform.
