Getting through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, often called the FAFSA, may get easier with a new tool announced Monday by the Utah Higher Education Assistance Authority.

"Navigating the FAFSA" is a self-directed presentation that guides students through topics explaining the purpose of the application, how to obtain a personal identification number securely online, what information should be gathered, how to complete the complex application and how to submit it.

The new resource can be found on the UHEAA Web page, uheaa.org, as well as on UHEAA's Facebook page.

FAFSAs are due June 30.
