A collision between a pickup and a semitrailer on Interstate 80 in Tooele County caused one man to be flown to the hospital Friday evening.
The truck and semitrailer were both traveling eastbound on I-80 when they collided and rolled over about 7 p.m., the Utah Highway Patrol said.
The driver of the pickup truck was in fair condition after the accident. The semitrailer driver was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated by emergency crews, UPH said. He was flown to a local hospital.
The cause of the accident was still under investigation late Friday evening.
