TORONTO — Two-time NBA All-Star power forward Carlos Boozer will not play when the Jazz face Toronto this morning.
Boozer has a sprained right ankle, sustained in Friday night's victory over Denver.
Backup Paul Millsap will replace him in the opening lineup, coach Jerry Sloan said, and reserve big man Kosta Koufos will take Boozer's place on the Jazz's 10-man active roster.
Boozer missed 44 straight games early this season with a left quadriceps injury and a left knee injury that required arthroscopic surgery. He's appeared in six games since.
The Jazz take a 10-game win streak into today's game, which is the start of a five-game trip.
