The University of Utah College of Fine Arts will celebrate its 60th anniversary with a music, dance, theatre, film and visual arts showcase.
The celebration will take place, March 13, 8 p.m., in Kingsbury Hall. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased by calling 801-581-7100 or on line at www.kingsburyhall.org.
Composer Patrick Williams has created a score for a work danced by students of the department of ballet and modern dance. The work was choreographed by Montreal-based dancer Edgar Zendejas, and the score will be performed by students of the U. department of music.
Proceeds will go to student scholarship funds in the College of Fine Arts.
