LEHI — There was certainly no shortage of news surrounding Real Salt Lake as it practiced Tuesday afternoon in Lehi.

In between preseason trips to Tampa, Fla., and Charleston, S.C., the club made several announcements on Tuesday as it nears its season-opener at Seattle on March 28th.

RSL also announced it had acquired six-year MLS veteran Ned Grabavoy from the MLS waiver draft and that it had released Nik Besagno, Kevin Reiman and Brennan Tennelle.

Grabavoy made 24 appearances with San Jose a season ago and could potentially slot into all four midfield positions for RSL.
