Registration has opened for the 2009 Utah Economic Summit, scheduled for 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 30 at the Grand America Hotel.
This year's event will continue with the theme of strengthening Utah, including exploring ways to enhance and foster new business development across the state and ensure that Utah's economic base is protected and strong, according to the governor's office.
Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr. and Kelly Matthews, executive vice president and chief economist at Wells Fargo Bank, will be featured speakers. The conference will include breakout sessions and panel discussions. Tracks will include business innovation, law, entrepreneurship, economic development, transportation and more.
Registration is available at www.UtahEconomicSummit.com. The summit is presented by the Governor's Office of Economic Development and MediaOne of Utah.
