WEBER STATE

INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD: Weber State's women placed third, and the men finished fourth, at the Big Sky Conference Indoor Championships.

UTAH VALLEY

SOFTBALL: The Wolverines (3-5) split games in the St. Mary's Gael Classic on Saturday with an 11-3 win against Brown in the early game, and a 4-2 loss to St. Mary's in the late game.

S. Utah

BASEBALL: The Thunderbirds scored six runs in the first three innings and then slammed the door shut with a three-run homer in the bottom of the eighth, capturing the 9-5 victory over Utah Valley on Saturday afternoon.

SLCC

BASEBALL: The Bruins beat Colorado Northwestern CC ( 5-12, 1-3) in both games of a doubleheader Saturday by scores of 5-1 and 8-0.

SOFTBALL: The Bruins completed a four game sweep of Snow College with two more wins Saturday by scores of 1-0, 6-1. With the wins, Salt Lake CC improves to 13-3 in conference play and 16-5 overall.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: The Bruins finished their regular season with an 86-82 win over Eastern Utah on Saturday, as freshman Amanda Hansen had a career-high 21 points. The Bruins improved to 16-14, 7-8 on the season and secured a fourth-place finish in the Scenic West Athletic Conference standings. They will travel to Coeur D' Alene, Idaho, for the Region 18 Tournament which begins Thursday.

MEN'S BASKETBALL: The Bruins dropped a 76-73 decision to Eastern Utah on Saturday. SLCC falls to 24-6 overall, 10-5 in conference play, finishing second behind North Idaho. Sophomore Drew Robinson scored a season-high 19 points, and freshman DJ Wright added 16 points and 10 rebounds.
