Police say Zion death was suicide

ZION NATIONAL PARK — Police have identified the man who was found dead at the base of the Canyon Overlook this week.

Dave Brigham, 48, of Sussex, N.J., was found by a search team Thursday morning after falling 400 feet to his death.

According to a news release from the park, a preliminary investigation of the fatality by the Washington County Sheriff's Office and the National Park Service has indicated that the death was most likely suicide.
