Falling victim identified at Zion National Park

ZION NATIONAL PARK—Police have identified the man who was found dead at the base of the Canyon Overlook this week.

Dave Brigham, 48, of Sussex, New Jersey was found by a search team Thursday morning after falling 400 feet to his death.

According to a news release from the park, a preliminary investigation of the fatality by the Washington County Sherriff's Office and the National Park Service has indicated that the death was most likely a suicide.
