The judges loved her performance, but "American Idol" viewers did not send Megan Corkrey of Sandy to the finals of the top-rated TV show. The 23-year-old single mother was not among the top vote-getters in the second group of semifinalists.

Now Corkrey has to hope that judges Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi choose her as one of three wild cards who will fill out the Top 12.

The other Utahn in the semifinals, 17-year-old Taylor Vaifanua of Hurricane, performs Tuesday. She will learn Wednesday if she's voted into the finals; the wildcard entries will be announced Thursday.

This week, Kris Allen, Allison Iraheta and Adam Lambert joined Danny Gokey, Alexis Grace and Michael Sarver in the "American Idol" finals.
