Archuleta to perform March 27 at E Center

David Archuleta has added a Utah date to his concert tour – he'll perform at the E Center in West Valley City on Friday, March 27, at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. At the E Center box office, all Tickmaster outlets, online at ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-800-745-3000. Reserved tickets are $25 and $35, plus fees.

The 2008 runner-up on "American Idol" had announced a 19-cities-in-28-days tour back in January. But while it would take him to Virginia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, Minnesota, Illinois, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada and Idaho, but it included no appearances in his home state of Utah.

Archuleta is promoting his first studio album, "David Archuleta," which was released in November and has sold more than half a million copies.
