PROVIDENCE, Cache County — SWAT team officers were called out after a man barricaded himself inside a home here.
The Cache County Sheriff's Office said the incident began Sunday when a 34-year-old man got into an argument with his wife and threatened her with a shotgun. She was able to escape, deputies said, but the man barricaded himself inside.
Neighboring homes were evacuated and people attending a nearby church were not allowed to leave while authorities negotiated with the man. Ultimately, he surrendered without incident, deputies said.
