Abraham Lincoln was wrong! You can fool all of the people all of the time, if you tell them a plausible lie — like the phone company's explanation of why it is forcing 10 digit dialing on area code 801. They say it's to save thousands of businesses from the expense of reprinting documents with a "new" area code. Therefore the geographical overlay was chosen instead of a geographical split-off. What we blind sheep fail to see is that now every business in the 801 area will have to reprint business documents because every dialer will now need to know which area code to dial.
What has happened to "common sense"?
