Despite the obvious differences in origin, our entrees were fresh, hot and quickly prepared. They also were tasty, with the chicken bowls lightly but adequately sauced with teriyaki and sliced steamed carrots and broccoli placed around the bowl like bright ornaments.

The pork loin was tender and nicely portioned, with three juicy slices accompanied by mixed vegetables and two crisp-breaded and savory potato croquettes.

It's familiar and new at the same time, and at this price point, that's a hard feat to pull off.

Sandwiches $7.49, soup $3.49, teriyaki $6.99-$7.99, entrees $6.49-$8.59, daily specials $7.99-$9.99.
