A belated Valentine to a great example

My wife is amazing. She spends hours at the school as a volunteer almost every day. She works tirelessly at home to make it a place of safety and love and fun and learning. She writes a restaurant-review column for this paper, giving the children and me the opportunity to share in her love of trying new foods. And she does it all while maintaining a nearly constant positive attitude.

I know she works far harder every day than I could handle. And she does it without complaint.

In other words, she's a great example to me. If I could be more like her in my job — or just in my life — I would be a better employee, manager, husband, father and person.

Thank you, Stacey, for that example. And I know it's several days late, but happy Valentine's Day, too. I promise I'll try NOT to add to my bad-gift-giving legend next year!
