WEISER, Idaho (AP) Two Payette men who spent two nights in the mountains in southwest Idaho after getting lost on a snowmobile trip are back at home.
Authorities say Steve Gross and Bill Lambertson were found unharmed Sunday afternoon in the mountains of Washington County.
The men were snowmobiling Friday near the the Mann Creek Reservoir.
Washington County Sheriff Marvin Williams says one of their snowmobiles got stuck in the bottom of a canyon, then the man lost their sense of direction. One of the men called his wife on a cell phone Saturday to say they were fine and would make it out on their own.
But when they didn't show up later that day, volunteers set out to look for them.
County search crews set out Sunday and found the men near Porcupine Creek.
