FAIRVIEW, Sanpete County — Two West Bountiful women were killed in an automobile accident on slick roads Friday morning.
The Utah Highway Patrol says Shilo Edwards, 19, and her sister Micah Edwards, 21, died when their Toyota Corolla collided with a pickup truck near Fairview.
UHP trooper Cameron Roden said the crash happened at about 9:10 a.m. on U.S. 89.
"It appears the Corolla lost control on the slick roadway and ended up going sliding into the southbound and got T-boned on the passenger side by the pickup," Roden said.
Two people inside the pickup were both taken by ambulance to hospitals in Provo and Mt. Pleasant in critical condition.
