For the second straight World Cup qualifying cycle, local soccer fans will get to watch the U.S. Men's National Team play a meaningful match here in Utah.
Real Salt Lake announced Monday that Rio Tinto Stadium will host the U.S. National Team's qualifying match against El Salvador on Saturday, Sept. 5.
It will be the second qualifying match played in Utah. Back in 2005, the United States beat Costa Rica 3-0 in a CONCACAF qualifying match played at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
Tickets for the match aren't on sale yet, but Real Salt Lake indicated that season ticket holders will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets for the El Salvador match.
