Real Salt Lake announced today that Rio Tinto Stadium will be hosting a U.S. Men's National Team World Cup qualifying match against El Salvador on Sept. 5.
The match will be the second World Cup qualifying match played in Utah. Back on June 4, 2005, the United States beat Costa Rica 3-0 in a match played at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
The U.S. National Team begins qualification for the 2010 World Cup on Wednesday when it faces Mexico in Columbus, Ohio.
Tickets for the match aren't on sale yet, but Real Salt Lake announced that season ticket holders will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets for the match.
