Bloggernacle Back Bench anniversary

Welcome to the Bloggernacle back bench: a comfortable place to observe, learn and discuss.

One year ago this week I invited you

to sit with me to peruse the posts found during the week in the

Bloggernacle. That invitation still stands.I am overwhelmed when I

attempt to appraise this last year in the Bloggernacle. The sheer

number of opinions, discussions, photos, videos, new blogs, lists,

event, reviews, podcasts and testimonies boggles my mind. Yet in honor

of the Bloggernacle Back Bench's anniversary, I thought I'd provide a

month-by-month look back, highlighting some amazing blogs from among

the many amazing blogs. Enjoy! I sure did.

February 2008: The Back Bench began

with lots of explanation about blogs, voice, aggregators and searching.

In the middle of these details, I highlighted the comical and offbeat

blog The

9th Ward Cartoons. These cartoons continue to delight.

March 2008: I provided a history behind the history blog The Juvenile Instructor. It now is one of

the biggest blogs in the Bloggernacle and continues to promote and provide more accurate Mormon history.

April 2008: I found this beautiful slide show depicting  \"Reflections

of Christ\" and these gorgeous images continue to inspire.

May 2008: I was impressed with the experimental e-seminar that launched in May: Alma 32 proved to be an in-depth

look at a theologically rich Book of Mormon chapter.

June 2008: I introduced you to the green

mormon architect and his drive to better the environment.

July 2008: I followed 1847 pioneer Charles Alfred Harper The Way West and rejoiced that he arrived

in the valley safely.
