2. American Fork (16-2) Class: 5A

Was: 2. Last week: 1-0. Outlook: The Cavemen lost post player to injury, but should still contend for the 5A title. Next up: at Pleasant Grove, Wednesday.

3. Riverton (17-0) Class: 5A

Was: 3. Last week: 2-0. Outlook: The Silverwolves' defense may lead the way, but they can put up points as well. Next up: at Hunter, Tuesday.

4. Bingham (17-1) Class: 5A

Was: 4. Last week: 0-1. Outlook: The Miners could only hang with the Silverwolves for one half. Next up: vs. Kearns, Tuesday.

5. Springville (14-2) Class: 4A

Was: 6. Last week: 2-0. Outlook: The Red Devils face tough challenge this week, but are playing well. Next up: at Mountain View, Tuesday.

Was: 9. Last week: 2-0. Outlook: Great win over Judge; even better rivalry is now history; sportsmanship second-to-none. Next up: vs. Union, Tuesday.

9. Judge (16-2) Class: 3A

Was: 7. Last week 1-1. Outlook: The Bulldogs showed grit and class in loss to Wasatch; still one of state's best. Next up: vs. Waterford, Wednesday.

10. Layton (12-6) Class: 5A

Was: -. Last week: 1-1. Outlook: The Lancers show they can play with the best teams with a win over Syracuse. Next up: at Viewmont, Tuesday.
