OREM — Police have identified a woman killed in an accident Sunday morning in Orem.

Just after 10:20 a.m., Adrianne McBride, 23, of Murray, was traveling west when she came to the intersection of 800 South and State Street, said Orem Police Lt. Doug Edwards.

Witnesses say McBride ran the red light and her Honda Civic was struck on the driver's side by a northbound pickup, Edwards said. Police believe she died on impact.

The truck driver, 56, from Lehi, was taken to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
