Timpview's coveted offensive lineman Xavier Su'a-Filo spiced up National Signing Day this afternoon by officially signing his letter of intent to play college football at UCLA during a ceremony at Timpview High School broadcast nationally on ESPN.
Su'a-Filo, ranked by rivals.com as the seventh best offensive tackle coming out of high school this year, was also heavily recruited by BYU, Utah, LSU and USC.
The 6-foot-4, 285-pound lineman was one of just six recruits on Rivals' top 100 who had yet to make a verbal committment prior to National Signing Day.
Su'a-Filo led Timpview High School to its third straight 4A state championship this past fall and was named the Deseret News Class 4A MVP.
