ACADEMICS: Seven football players have been named to the academic all-Great West Conference squad. Seniors Aaron Fernandez, Joel Johnson and Cody Stone are joined on the team by junior Trevor Ward and sophomores John Martinez, Tysson Poots and Colin Pretlow.

GYMNASTICS: Jenna Vogt was named the Western Athletic Conference Co-Specialist of the Week following her performances in meets against Utah State and Southeast Missouri State. Vogt recorded a career-high 9.900 on floor to claim the individual title at a dual meet against Utah State.
