CARSON, Calif. (AP) Chivas USA forward Ante Razov is expected to miss 8 to 12 weeks after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right ankle to remove bone spurs.
Razov, the club's career scoring leader, had surgery Friday in Van Nuys, Calif., the team said Saturday.
Razov, who signed a new contract with the team, played for the Los Angeles Galaxy, Chicago, Columbus and MetroStars before joining Chivas USA in 2006. He has scored 30 goals for the club, and is the second all-time leading scorer for the MLS.
