Thanks for Yunus kudos

Thank you for the editorial about the Nobel Peace Prize winner Muhammad Yunus and the great achievement that microcredit has reached 100 million people (Jan. 26).

I am involved with a nonprofit, RESULTS, which works with Muhammad Yunus. Muhammad Yunus and the Microcredit Summit were able to announce to the world that the goal of reaching 100 million people in 2007 was reached. I cannot think of anyone who can argue with supporting microcredit. Helping the poorest of the poor help themselves out of poverty is amazing and inspiring.

I congratulate the Deseret News for writing this editorial and spreading the wonderful news about microcredit! Thank you!
